How do I do this Obstacle ?

Both handler and equine to step into "Section A"

The handler must ask the equine to HALT

The handler must then step over "The Gap" and into "Section B"

The equine to WAIT in "Section A"

The handler to stand facing the equine and to show a relaxed rope

Immobility 4 seconds

The handler to then ask the equine to cross the gap and both to proceed to the next obstacle

Where to start

Practice HALTING your equine and "stepping away"

Increase "immobility" slowly as your equine builds confidence
