About Agility

Shetland Pony Agility is the little brother to Equine Agility UK.

We are open to all small ponies under 13hh - 52 inches and under or 132cm

Shetland Pony Agility is open to all ages and abilities.

There is something for everybody.

Shetland Pony Agility is an equine/handler relationship based practice and training approach, the relationship always comes first.

Shetland Pony Agility has it's own On-Line section and competitions, with classes to suit everybody, from novices to pro's

On-Line

There really is something for everybody in our On-Line Shetland Pony Agility section.

There are FUN classes as well as the more serious competitions with classes to suit all ages and abilities.

Help us grow our vision

Our aim is to promote relationship based horsemanship where the welfare needs of the pony are above and paramount to all else.

Shetland ponies are sometimes viewed as nothing more than lawn mowers or paddock ornaments.

Here at Shetland Pony Agility we want to showcase these little ponies as worthwhile and trustworthy companions

who will try their hearts out for you and become your greatest friend.

Obstacles

The obstacles we use are the same as the ones showcased in Equine Agility UK.

All the same principles apply, safety, sensible construction and careful consideration to how they are sited, BUT, here's a bonus, you will find it much easier to source the materials needed to make your Shetland sized obstacles !
