Each one asking questions of the other, both listening and answering each other.

A visible and tangible connection should be on display at all times.

The body language of both partners should appear relaxed and comfortable, showing mutual trust and understanding.

The lead rope, the physical connection between the handler and equine should be soft and relaxed and used in a respectful manner.
