Progression through the levels
It's your choice !
Depending on your circumstances and experience you can choose whether to enter either the NOVICE or ADVANCED sections.
The ADVANCED + sections can only be entered when you have completed at least ONE season (5/6 months, Winter or Summer series) of competition with EAUK
Rules.
There is only one rule that must be adhered to ;
The section level you enter at the beginning of the season/series is the one that you must continue to compete at for the duration of that season/series.
After each CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW you can choose whether to move up a level, stay the same or even move back down a level.
How do the levels differ ?
EAUK Judging System.
Technical accuracy.
How accurate you are at preforming the obstacles to the "requirements" given.
Partnership.
Two way communication, asking questions, listening to answers, both handler and equine.
Connection.
How well the partnership stays "connected"
Maintenance of connection is the handlers responsibility.
FINESSE.
Is the coming together of the above 3.
"Finesse" is how the levels differ !
At NOVICE level, finesse is seen as a work in progress.
At ADVANCED level it should be at least 50% evident.
At ADVANCED + levels it should be evident at all times !
